I’ve enjoyed sewing for as long as I can remember!
My love for textiles and stitching led to my interest in textile art.
I’ve stitched and explored textiles for many years, creating textile artworks and making art quilts. I also make, and mend, many of my own clothes.
My interests include using found objects, recycling and repurposing textiles, and mindful mending. My influences include Japanese Boro and Sashiko stitching, Indian Kantha quilting, and European embroidery.
I’ve delivered workshops in Textile Art techniques, and I currently deliver workshops at Fareham Creative Space, Featherston, on sewing techniques, Japanese Sashiko stitching, mindful mending and creative patchwork.
