IN THE STUDIOS

 

Painter Karen Madoc is currently working on her bright and colourful abstract paintings in Studio 1. 

MAIN GALLERY EXHIBITIONS

BLOCK 1 IS ON NOW FROM THE 31st JANUARY THROUGH TO THE 10TH OF MARCH.

Come and see a diverse range of artwork created by ConArt's talented membership. With a focus on original paintings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, woodwork, jewellery, prints and cards.

Long term member Lester Blair, currently has a solo exhibition next door in the Windows Gallery at Aratoi Wairarapa Art and History Museum. His beautifully crafted photography show titled Twenty Four Churches, explores a selection of small wooden churches in the Wairarapa and Wellington region. This finishes April 14th 2024. 

​

 

We are thrilled to have the addition of a new Sean Crawford sculpture on The Front Lawn, funded by Masterton Trust Lands Trust. Please come and enjoy this beautiful work of a pair of Huia.

ConArt is a purpose-built creative space in Masterton where Wairarapa - based artists can exhibit, create, promote and sell their art. We are a non-profit organisation. Our purpose is to showcase ConArt and its members to art lovers, near and far.

Opening Hours

ConArt Gallery & Studios is open five days a week.

Wednesday to Sunday

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please note, we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except by appointment).
